Job searching is about facing your fears. Every resume you send off, every interview you agree to prepare for, every networking contact you market yourself to – each time you do this, you are leaning into your fears.
Sometimes the job seekers I work with ask, “will my fear every go away?” I tell them, “the fear doesn’t have to go away for you to succeed. There will always be fear, but that’s ok! The more you practice putting yourself out there, the braver you become."
Can you relate to this? I sure can! The journey of finding the work you love is not an easy journey, but it is rewarding.
The more you practice putting yourself out there, the braver your become.
So if you are looking for a new job, be encouraged. It’s not just about finding work. It's a process of learning to face your fears and believe in yourself. So keep showing up, being seen, and accepting yourself no matter what. You can do it!
